The Pheasant at Buckland

The Pheasant (formerly known as The Jolly Farmers) became part of Chester based company, Brunning & Price (“B&P”) in 2015, and has since undergone extensive renovation to create stunning cosy interiors with open fires, wooden floors, traditional furniture and pictures, and a well-stocked bar at it’s heart.

Not to mention our beautiful pub garden that overlooks Percy the tractor and glorious green fields.

Pub landlady, Beth Wells, joined The Pheasant at Buckland from the White Hart in Chobham, a sister Brunning & Price establishment, closely followed by her one year old pub dog, Chip.  Beth loves gin, pubs, food and talking – so The Pheasant is, in her eyes, a perfect job! Chip and Beth have quickly settled into Reigate life – your most likely to find them on Reigate Heath where Chip is saying hello to any dog he can find.

Beth leads her team of Hannah and James who now make up the rest of The Pheasant’s management team.  In the kitchen we have Mark, Dennis and Simon leading the way and developing an exciting menu that changes every six weeks.  Beth says “we promise we are a very friendly team, full of smiles and love a good chin wag (alongside a pint of course!) … please come to The Pheasant and take some time to have a chat with us.  We look forward to meeting you soon!”

We organise lots of events to make sure you check our website to see what’s coming up – meet the brewer, wine tasting or gin festivals are our usual ones.
