Your Vote Matters – Register to Vote in Next Year’s Elections

If you have not done so already, please check and respond to the communications you will have received regarding the electoral register. Doing so will ensure that you are able to vote in future elections.

In recent months, residents will have received forms or emails from Mole Valley District Council’s (MVDC) electoral services team. This is an opportunity to confirm that your details held on the register of electors are correct, or to inform MVDC of any changes.

Residents can respond online, by calling Freephone 0800 197 9871, or by using the SMS service. If a form was posted to you, any changes to your details should be made clear on the form and returned to MVDC’s Pippbrook offices in Dorking using the reply paid envelope.

Those residents who have yet to respond may be visited by a Mole Valley canvasser from 25 September 2020 onwards, with a final reminder form. This is being carried out in preparation for the publication of the Revised Electoral Register on 1 December 2020.

If you have any questions about this process, please contact MVDC’s elections team on 01306 879198 or visit the government website.
