Joint Enforcement Team (JET) works across Mole Valley

In April 2019, Mole Valley District Council (MVDC) launched a new JET to help combat anti-social behaviour and low-level crime in Mole Valley. The JET team tackles issues such as littering, fly-tipping, abandoned vehicles and enforcement of Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPO).

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey has provided funding for the start-up costs of the Mole Valley JET through its Community Safety Fund. The team works closely with other agencies such as the Police to provide the community with a fast and effective response to anti-social behaviour issues. They offer a visible presence to deter would-be offenders, in addition to providing educational advice.
