Scouts

Buckland is fortunate to be located so that it is served by two thriving Scout Districts, Reigate and Dorking, each with several different groups, all of whom provide a full programme of activities for their members.

The nearest group in the Reigate District is the 30th Reigate Scout Group who meet in Somers Hall, Slipshoe Street (near the Red Cross).  The 30th Reigate Group was founded in 1925, is the largest group in the Reigate District and one of the largest groups in Surrey and the UK.

The closest group in the Dorking District is the Brockham Scout Group (22nd Dorking); they can often be seen travelling around in a red double decker bus (007).  Further information about Brockham Scouts on the Brockham Village website
